Student Guitars
DEAR GUITAR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS,
Here is our updated inventory-price list of student guitars currently
available at The Classical Guitar Store. All of the guitars, listed in the index to the left, are equipped
with solid soundboards which deliver significantly more volume and resonance
than plywood soundboards.
With our Raimundo, Lucida, Sanchis, Esteve, Saez,
Artista and Aria guitars from Spain,
our Castillos from Spain by way of Paris, and
our Hofner guitars from Germany, we offer
to the beginning student a solid Cedar or Spruce instrument with its enhanced
tone and projection for the modest price of $350 and up. These instruments
differ as to the back and sides, being Sapelly, Mahogany, or Indian Rosewood,
as well as to the fingerboards, being Rosewood or Ebony. Tuning machines
are another important quality factor, ranging from light metal plates and
simple gears to heavier plates and carbonized steel gears.
As always, each of our guitars, in whatever price range, is checked for
action and intonation when it is put out for sale and the buyer has a
full year warranty for free action adjustment. That, as well as our
enormous variety of classical guitars to choose from, has been the reason
for our success against the competition of chain stores which offer small
selection and virtually no set-up or back-up service in the classical guitar
market.
