Thank you for making my most recent visit to your shop a very memorable one. It's just been all but a few hours since I brought my Hanika 54 home, and I've just put it down for the first time to take a break and write this email. It's so beautiful and just a pleasure to play. I'm supposed to be practicing and yet, I'm just playing my repertoire over and over again just to listen to it sing. Thank you Behrad for all your patience in showing me all the different makes and models. I didn't imagine that I would walk out with a different guitar as I had one specific one in mind. However, I couldn't be happier with my final decision. Thank you Bill for going over the advantages and instructing me on the various accessories for my new guitar. I really appreciated the time you took to assist me with my needs. Thank you again for everything. -Eric

-

Bill:

Just wanted to let you know that I received the guitar today[Picado 53]. It is fabulous and everything you state on your website. The tone, action and volume of the instrument surpass my expectations. The one thing I would mention on your website though is that the action is much better on this guitar than on many other classical guitars. This makes stretches and position changes very easy. I only wish I had known about your store and this model before I spent so much time money and energy looking in large, poorly stocked shops in my area. Your service and delivery were dead on. You can guarantee that I will tell everyone I know about your great selection of fine instruments and your store.

Regards,

I would like to thank you so much for the excellent service when purchasing my new Dominique Delarue classical guitar. After talking to you on the phone last Friday, my wife and I traveled Saturday from DC to Philadelphia to spend several wonderful hours in your store. Recently, I decided to purchase a concert quality instrument and had tried about a dozen guitars; none of which really resonated with me, even though they were all excellent instruments. Upon walking into your store, you and Bill were very gracious and informative about the process of selecting a fine instrument. I very much appreciate your patience as we tried, I believe, all of your concert guitars. Your website comments on the Delarue were spot on! Anyway, I have already enjoyed many hours of wonderful playing time since bringing my new 'baby' home. I really love the range of tone, timbre and volume in this excellent guitar. Thank you again for your superior service and range of guitars from which to choose.

Best regards,

Let me just say that I never thought that buying a guitar over the phone/internet could be such a positive experience. The time you spent discussing the various guitars that I was interested in and the sound files that you sent were invaluable in making my decision. Certainly the next best thing to being there in person. The Giambattista is one fine instrument for sure. Everyone who has seen and played it, myself included, has been very impressed. I'm certain that the G6 and I have a long and happy relationship ahead of us.

Cheers, and thanks again!

The Picado 49 arrived today undamaged. The outer box was a bit scuffed, but the packing materials proved adequate for the trip to Chicago. After tuning up the guitar and striking the first notes, I simply could not believe my ears! The warm full tone combined with the volume and projection make this, by far, the best acoustic guitar I have ever played, and much much better than anything I found in the local guitar stores. The case is nice, and well constructed for this guitar. I am keeping it! Sold!

Your website is informative and helpful. I especially like the search feature based on price, and your editorials about each guitar are interesting and informative. The sound files that you sent are of excellent quality, played beautifully, and quiet influential in my decision to select the cedar soundboard Picado 49. Your objective discussion with me on the phone gave me confidence that I was dealing with an honest and experienced store. I would recommend you to anyone without hesitation.

Thanks,

Thank you for collecting such a wonderful selection of great classical guitars! And thank you Michael for your very professional assistance in helping me choose my new Antonio Picado 60. I love this instrument! It has such a wonderful tonal quality, such brilliance of sound and great projection. Every single note has such beauty of tone! Superlatives don't do this instrument justice. My playing has never sounded so good. I am enchanted.

It wasn't until I got it home and really "dug in" to playing it that I began to appreciate it, fully. The balance, tone, resonance and sustain are very impressive and I am happily surprised by the way it "speaks," even in passages marked pianissimo.

As a lifelong musician who has only been studying classical guitar for two years, it has always been frustrating that my ear is developed well beyond my technique on the instrument, but the wonderful sound of the Giambattista closes the gap a little more and only increases my desire to practice.

It has been about a month and a half since I visited your store and purchased my Dupont Conservatoire. You probably figured out that I fell in love with the instrument during that afternoon in your store. I am pleased to report that I am still in love with my Dupont. I played seven or eight guitars in the same price range and found the Dupont to be far superior in tone quality and projection. The only instrument that I tried that was superior was the Dupont Prelude at half again the price. I was certainly tempted by the Prelude, but in the end I felt that my abilities simply weren't up to the quality of the instrument. They are not up to the Conservatoire either, but at least it is a closer match and a continuing inspiration.

Thank you for your assistance with my purchase.

I've been playing my new Giambattista 60th anniversary model for more than a month now, and it sounds better every day. Not only does it have the great clarity and seperation one expects from a spruce soundboard; the tone has a mellowness usually associated with cedar tops. Baroque and Spanish repertoire sound equally great on this beautifully crafted instrument.

Thank you for all your advice and patience in helping me choose this fine example of the luthiers art. Referrals are forthcoming.
