Here we have a superb new Master series instrument from one of my absolutely favorite American luthiers, Alejandro Cervantes. It is dated March, 2012, so it is fresh off the workbench, but what a full-throated tone it already has!

A beautiful instrument in every respect, with a French polished soundboard, delicate and glowing, and back and sides under a thin coat of nitrocellulose lacquer. It features a lattice bracing system uniquely designed by Cervantes to give a more pleasing natural wood tone than you hear in Smallman guitars. This guitar also has a unique double back with gorgeous flamboyant Cocobolo exterior and Cypress lining.
It is equipped with the best Gotoh tuning machines and strung with Savarez 540R normal tension.
