German Spruce soundboard, Indian rosewood back and sides

Ebony fingerboard, 650 string length, Alessi tuners

The Granada luthier Rene Baarslag, born in Heerlen, Holland, came to Granada to study flamenco, and became interested in Granada's guitar making scene. He apprenticed with Antonio Marin Montero, and also spent some time in Normandy working with Robert Bouchet.

This exceptional guitar sounds as beautiful as it looks. It has a very sweet tone with a great deal of projection and punch. The design elements are exquisite.

German Spruce Soundboard, Cypress Back and Sides
Ebony fretboard with 650 string length

This outstanding flamenco guitar bears resemblance to those of Santos Hernandez (1873-1942), one of the 20th century's greatest guitar makers and Baarslag's model. At this price it is an unusually good buy.
