Inspired by the Smallman-style construction, the "Melbourne" model has a strong presence and volume and is very open with a fast attack, due to the lattice bracing. The back is arched, which aids in the resonance and big sound of this guitar.
For a cedar guitar it is very clear but has a dreamy or alluring tone quality.
It is very comfortable to play, with a 3.6mm bass action and 2.6mm treble action.

The "Madrid" model pays tribute to the more traditional, fan-braced Spanish guitar. It has a more intimate sound in comparison to the Melbourne and New York models.
